About The Author
Some loves feel mythic. Some losses feel holy.
Language is the only way I know how to keep them honest.
I grew up hungry for stories where desire wasn’t punished.
My own work is a reflection of the stories I craved when I was younger, and those that I still look for today.
I write because I didn’t always see myself reflected honestly, especially as a bisexual woman whose queerness exists whether or not the world validates it.
These words are poetry for my younger self, a salve for the ache of an ongoing search.
There’s such beauty in the realization that you can create it for yourself.
Amongst my collections of crystals and oddities, throughout many late night writing sessions, within myself I’ve found the stories that hurt a little and heal a lot.
In my stories, desire is a celebration, grief is a living thing, and
identity is shaped by longing.
Although I’ve written in several genres, each piece has a similar core theme, chosen from my list of favorites:
Desire as devotion
Women loving women as a sacred act
Grief as a living thing
Power, softness & survival
Identity shaped by longing
Bodies as sites of magic & memory
